MONSIEUR ALEXANDRE,
THE MASTER WHO MAKES SENSE OF HISTORY

Mr Alexandre de Paris

The unfolding of a lively and astonishing destiny, it was with master Antoine in Cannes in 1938 that Alexandre, a gifted pupil, began to take scissors into his hands. He soon became the salon's "first boy". Having always been passionate about hairdressing, he moved to Paris and created his own brand in 1957, with 120 Faubourg Saint Honoré as his first address. His coat of arms, designed by his friend Cocteau, marked the beginning of the adventure.

In 1975, his second salon, at 3 avenue Matignon, opened its doors. It soon became the Parisian salon of choice. At his new address, he continued to do the hair of the Duchess of Windsor, then the Countess of Paris, who recommended him to all the royal houses of Europe.

Movie stars swear by him, starting with Elisabeth Taylor, Sophia Lauren and Romy Schneider. All remain loyal customers and friends.
