In 1990, Monsieur Alexandre fell in love with Michel Dervyn and chose him to succeed him and carry on his legacy. Monsieur Alexandre recognized in him the qualities of a great hairdresser and the audacity of an entrepreneur. He knows that his work and his brand are in good hands. If the reputation of this legendary salon at 3 avenue Matignon, in the heart of the Golden Triangle, endures, it's thanks to Michel Dervyn. When, as a young hairdresser's apprentice, he dreamed of Alexandre de Paris, he had no idea that he would become the owner of such a salon and head of such a luxury brand.

At 77, the group's energetic boss is not about to put away his scissors. On the strength of the brands he has developed throughout France and abroad, including the top-of-the-range Michel Dervyn salons, he is banking on his Shampoo Expert brand and the spin-off of the Alexandre de Paris Studio salons to continue on his path. After the Alexandre de Paris Studio salon on Rue Vivienne, he set up shop on the Left Bank, Place Saint-Sulpice. It's easy to understand the excitement and passion that drive him.
Today, Michel Dervyn, president and guardian of the temple of this undisputed master, has chosen to bring the House of Alexandre into the 21st century by infusing it with new beauty. Today, Alexandre de Paris shines on all 5 continents through private international ghota events, artistic shows and original workshops presented on the world's greatest stages.
